    The technology my partner and I used to film was an iPhone 11 for this project. We used the iPhone11 to film all the shots on the video setting. Once we were finished filming, my partner and I uploaded the film on to the computer. My partner and I started editing the film using iMovie but realized it was not turning out the way we had imagined. So we changed to Adobe Premiere Pro for the editing of our film. My partner and I used the text box to do the title and the opening credits along with splicing the film together. We also added a black and white filter on the section of the film which were the flashbacks to distinguish the time.

    My production skills improved throughout the development of this project. At the beginning, I was not very good at using the camera because I did not know how to properly film the shots in order to properly film the characters' feelings. Another challenge I had at the beginning was getting the correct lighting for the shots. It was to dark on the inside shots and it was to light on the outside shots.  Other challenges at the beginning were the costumes and the scheduling for everyone to be able to film with everyone's busy schedules.     My production skills improve through a lot of trail and error. By reshooting and going through the different shots, I realized that some shots worked better than others for certain scenes. Plus playing with different angle while shooting, I realized how to better shoot for the effect of the scene and the character's emotion.     My film product engages with audiences using platforms of social media for example Instagram. The films that were researched for audience engagement were A Quiet Place, Happy Death Day, and The Nun. A Quiet Place  aired their first trailer during the Super Bowl to an audience of over a hundred million, mini trailers on social media,and interactive features on Facebook. Happy Death Day  engaged the audience through Instagram and Youtube. The Nun engaged the audience with an ad on Youtube that was retweeted but eventually taken down due to the graphic images. I thought they were effective since they used different social medias to reach their target audiences.      My partner and I plan to market our film to teenagers and young adults. We will have ads on TV, billboards and social media. We will have social media because lots of teens and young adults have  multiple forms of social media.     The first film convention that my partner and I used was the Thank You font style in the color maroon. We chose the font style and color because we felt it gave a mysterious and haunting look. The second film convention that my partner and I used were a studio and on a location shots. The studio shot was the detective's office and the location was the flash backs in the woods. We used these in order to give a sense of realism. The third film convention that my partner and I used was costumes. We had the two main characters, Harper and Sarah, wear two different costumes to show that the flashbacks in the detective scenes were two different days. For our first revision my partner and I moved the opening credits from the end to the beginning of the opening scene. My partner and I did this to make it not seem like a short film or a trailer. The second revision my partner and I did was re-shooting the scenes with the detective in it because the dialogue did not sound natural and the actors seemed nervous. While reshooting we decided to make the detective a girl because we had some difficulties with the detective's make-up. Also we had the actors wear different cloths to help show it is a different day. By doing this it helps our film look more natural and make more sense. For my partner and my third revision we changed the title to The Unknown because we felt that No Trespassing as the title did not relate to the film that much.
