Despite a few bumps at the beginning, the filming went well and we were able to get all the shots we needed. The first difficulty was with the mustache of the detective was too big so we tried cutting it and then it did not stay in place very well. So we fixed the mustache problem by using mascara to draw on the mustache. Next time we should get a lot more different shots to express what is happening and the characters feelings and emotions because you can always edit the shots down to show your point of view. Also my partner and I should have taken extra shots to film just in case the opening was not long enough or blurry. We did not have any other problems with makeup and costume.  

I decided to do the film project because I think it was the best fit for me. I experimented with a lot of different angles and shots. We used many different shots and angles to fully show what was happening and the different emotions the characters were expressing. We developed the film as a horror film because we both enjoy watch that style of film. Part of the film was shot in the woods as a flashback to help explain what they went through. The shots we picked were to show the characters emotions. We edited the film as we did to have a flashback after every question the detective asked of the characters to help explain what happened that day.

Mt partner and I are filming on Sunday from 11:30 am to 3 pm. My goal is it finish filming in one day so every one does not have to come back and shot again. The portions of the opening scene I am filming is the idea that Harper and Sarah telling the detective what happened the day Mia got taken by the monster.

Harper is a bossy girl who just moved from a big town and thinks she knows every thing. Harper is also very adventurous. Malia is playing Harper because she is good at acting and is the best out of my friends to play her. Sarah is a very sensitive and shy person. Also she always follows the rules and grew up in a small town. Julia is playing Sarah because she has similar personality to Sarah, is a shy and good at following rules. Mia is Sarah's little sister, she is adventurous and follows the rules. If she does not think something is right she will say something. Ava is playing Mia because she is very adventurous and always speaks up for what's right. Detective Turner is a cop for a small town. Nothing ever happens so he mostly spends his time driving a round and doing nothing. Dani is playing Detective Turner because she is good at acting and is the best person to play the part.

The premise of the film is two girls, Harper and Sarah, explaining to the detective what happened in the woods when they trespassed. The girls explain that a monster lives in the woods and took Mia, Sarah's little sister. The film is a flashback of the day Mia was taken told my Harper and Sarah to the detective. I contributed the idea of having a girl who gets taken by the monster to make the film more intense.

Close Up This shot helps show the emotion of the character. Mid-Shot This shot helps show the character's emotion and what the character is doing with their hands to also help show their emotion. Wide shot This shot helps show the Harper's and Sarah's full reaction to the questions being asked by the detective. Over the Shoulder This shot helps show that the detective is talking but you are also able to see the girl's expression. Two-Shot This shot shows the interaction between two characters. Long shot This shot shows the surroundings of the two characters as they are running away. Two-shot This shows two characters discussing. Close up This show Mia calling out for help. Low Angle This shot helps to show Harper has more power when it comes to picking what the other girls do. High Angle This shot shows the monster is superior compared to Mia. High angle this shot shows Mia hiding in a bush from the monster. Close up This shows Mia...

The establishing shot illustrates the setting of the scene. the wide shot shows that Sarah and Harper are scared of the monster and are running away from it. The mid-shot show what reaction is of one girl and what she is are doing with her hands. The two shot show the reaction of both of the girls and want they are doing with their hands. The high angle shot is used to illustrate that the monster has more power than Mia. The close-up shot show Mia's whole face as she is screaming for help. This helps make the sense more dramatic. 

  This represents an interrogation room. It represents a cabin police department in a small town by the woods. This is the best location because it helps give off police department is in a very small in the suburbs. This represents the woods where Harper and Sarah are running away from the monster.  This is the best area because there is a lot of space for them to run and to get different angles of the scene.   This is where the Harper, Sarah, and Mia discuss on how they should go climb the fence and go into the woods. This is the best area because there are lots of plants and trees to give off that the woods a extremely over grown from no one going over the fence. This is where Mia is dragged into a bush by the monster. This is the best area because it has the same plants as on the other side of the fence and it over grown to where you can not see the monster.
