The film It is a horror film that came out in 2017. The job titles that are featured in the opening credits is the main actors, production design, director of photography, casting agency of the film, costume design, the music supervisor, and editor. The job titles are placed in either the left or right side bottom. The month and year is given to show when the film is support to take place. The film starts with an insert of a close-up of a paper boat that one of the the main character is making. The scene is set up in the location of a boy's bed room with it raining out side. There is atmospheric sound from the rain and creepy music that first you think is incidental music but later realize is source music from the mom playing the piano. There is a shot taken of one of the boys drawing a smiley face on the window which later disappears as the one child walks down the stairs. The color design is mostly dull colors. The set up of the first two unites of the film gives a scary impression and fear of what is about to happen. The film's budget was 35 million dollars for production. The film set multiple new box office records and makes over 700 million dollars worldwide, causing the movie It to be the fifth highest grossing R-rated film of all time. It won MTV Movie Award for Best On-screen Duo.
